"We took the Stanley Cup to Bear Creek Golf Club, strapped it on the back of a golf cart and played golf with our pal Dennis Murray, who hosted the entire team. When we won the Cup again, we took it to celebrate with Dennis at the Ridge where he'd become Director of Instruction. Everyone knows Coach Murray can really play the game of golf as well as help others play better, and he's a great guy--one of the reasons The Ridge is our hockey club's home golf course." -Joe Sakic, Captain Colorado Avalanche
