Teaching Pro's at The Ridge

Michael Weingartner, PGA
Head Golf Professional

Born and raised in Colorado, Mike turned professional in 2009. He is a PGA Member and Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) certified. He has been teaching since 2009 and enjoys working with all players. While his belief is that there is no one method to teach the proper swing, he does believe there is one efficient swing for everyone. Guiding players to their most efficeint swing is at the heart of Mike's teaching. Setting goals allows players to track progress. "I will work with you to define and achieve your goals."
As an active tournament player, he understands the need to cultivate a strong mental approach toward the game. A positive mental approach will allow you to play your best.

Alexander Weldon
Assistant Golf Professional

Born and raised in Colorado, Alex has been in the Castle Pines area for 24 years.  Alex has put countless hours of practice and dedication into the game of golf and passed his PAT qualifying tournament, while shooting his first round under par.  Alex's philosophy is simple and has a focus on helping you swing the golf club naturally instead of trying to imitate a particular movement.  "Every golfer is different and has different comfort levels".  Alex focuses on the basics and believes that golf is just as much of a mental game as it is a physical game.

Trevor Martinet
Assistant Golf Professional

Raised in Colorado, Trevor is an accomplished athlete.  As a Division 2 men's soccer player, Trevor garnered Academic All-American honors at CSU Pueblo.  He took up golf his senior year as his soccer career came to an end and has been obsessed with the sport ever since.  Trevor has put in countless hours into studying and practicing the game of golf passing his PAT in 2015.  He has the great ability to relate to new golfers and help them immensely through early learning curves as he learned the game later in life.  "Too many golfers become obsessed with the perfect swing mechanics and forget that golf is a game with a purpose.  I love teaching the game and seeing students enjoy themselves more as they shoot better scores."
